Subdreamer CMS version 312 will be released this month, I was hoping to have it out by the first week but it's taking a bit longer than expected. So whats new in this soon to be released version? Well, quite a lot actually.
We are getting pretty serious with our forum plugin, these features will be added:
+ Topic Moving
+ Topic Deleting
+ Mass Topic Deleting
+ Topic locking/unlocking
+ Topic online/offline
+ Post Moving
+ Post deleting
+ RSS for forum categories.
+ Quoting messages.
It's getting there :)
The new version of Subdreamer CMS also goes over the new skin editor and fixes a few known bugs. We've also managed to remove 5 queries from both the front-end and admin panel. This is something we've been working on every version, and I'm happy to say that the query count is the lowest its ever been!
I expect to have the new version released before the 20th of this month. Get ready!
Better late than never! The plugin documentation is finally complete and available online:
http://www.subdreamer.com/docs/
There's enough information there for any developer to create some really nice plugins! And then submit them to our new developers area of course :)
It's been a long time coming hasn't it? Well it's here and it's really good!
Customers can now submit new skins and plugins to this website. In fact, you can do much more:
- Upload new skins and plugins.
- View and manage all of your uploaded files.
- Make changes to file details, such as name & description.
- Upload newer versions of your skin or plugin.
- Edit existing versions.
Here are some screenshots:
There are still a few more features coming soon, including uploading of screenshots and change logs. Up next will be the completion of the plugin documentation followed by a new version of Subdreamer CMS.
It took a bit longer than expected, but our new site is finally up and running!
We're using Subdreamer CMS 3.1.2 which includes support for PHP in the online skin editor, this thing is awesome and I can't wait to release this new version (coming very soon)! It's great to be able to login into the admin panel and add some PHP code into different page layouts, the possibilities are endless.
So other than that little tidbit of joy, what else is new? Well, with this new redesign we really wanted to start showing off what we've created. One of our problems is that we love implementing new features but rarely show off these new features on our website. Previously we only had 1 features page, but this new site breaks down features into different sections. This will be a great way of showing new features that have been recently added, such as the new Forum.
It's great to keep the site up to date, this is without a doubt my favorite redesign of the subdreamer.com website. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
Now that the site is finally out of the way, we are going to focus on user uploads of skins and plugins. This of course will include the completion of the plugin documentation (I know, it's so late!).
