Subdreamer CMS

Blog
Our new website is up and running!
It took a bit longer than expected, but our new site is finally up and running!

We're using Subdreamer CMS 3.1.2 which includes support for PHP in the online skin editor, this thing is awesome and I can't wait to release this new version (coming very soon)! It's great to be able to login into the admin panel and add some PHP code into different page layouts, the possibilities are endless.

So other than that little tidbit of joy, what else is new? Well, with this new redesign we really wanted to start showing off what we've created. One of our problems is that we love implementing new features but rarely show off these new features on our website. Previously we only had 1 features page, but this new site breaks down features into different sections. This will be a great way of showing new features that have been recently added, such as the new Forum.

It's great to keep the site up to date, this is without a doubt my favorite redesign of the subdreamer.com website. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!

Now that the site is finally out of the way, we are going to focus on user uploads of skins and plugins. This of course will include the completion of the plugin documentation (I know, it's so late!).

... can't wait to get my hands on the new Version. Although I was very unsatisfied after the first 3.0 release, it seems that it turns out good in the end. The deeper I get into the new core, the more I fall in love (again) with SD, so thank you for your great work.

Good to hear that finally the plugin documentation will be finished, I bet that a lot of plugin coders like me are eagerly waiting for that. Even if I managed to code my first native SD 3 plugins with the unfinished docs, it is good to have all together in one place for a quick refreshing of knowledge ;-)

The cream and cherry on top would be some sort of documentation of the other core functions as well.

What type of core functions are you interested in?

All, if I have the choice ;-) No, just kidding, most of them are pretty self explanatory

The documentation along with the new area to upload skins and plugins will all be completed by this month. I know this has been delayed previously, but this time it will be done.
