Gonna have to start cranking these out to keep up with you Elvis :P

Finally understand the plugin class structure...I hope.

Let me know how bad I messed it up lol.

This small, yet robust plugin brings a much needed enhancement to your Subdreamer 3 website.

This plugin will display the latest posts from your forums

PLEASE NOTE: You must be using the official Subdreamer 3 Forum Plugin for this to work.

Features
-Fully Translatable! You can easily change the language of each setting name, setting description and plugin display to your native language.

-Ability to select how many posts to display in the plugin

-Select whether to display how long ago the post was made (i.e. "28 Minutes Ago") or the actual date of the post.
Please Note: Date format is controlled from the "Main Settings" page in the admin panel.

-Select how many characters (letters) of each post to show before displaying "..." at the end, making it a post except and a great way to encourage users to read the full post.

-Using operations built into Subdreamer 3, no matter what page your forums are on, or if you have SEO enabled, this plugin will automatically create links for the post, topic title and "Read More" link that takes you to the correct page every time.

To Do
-Add member profile link when member profiles are released

-Add plugin setting option to toggle post scrolling, like a news feed

Have fun and enjoy!

I missed this one, it's awesome how fast you are releasing plugins. I can't wait to add in member profile pages, it's gonna really make this system so much better.

yeah, looks that plugins can be made much more faster than the old Subdreamer. This one is really cool. Congrats!

Yeah I literally had to study classes in PHP before I could even do this, because even with the documentation explaining the plugin structure, I had no idea how to do it correctly.

Testing out the first upgrade I'm releasing now. Hopefully I don't blow up the CMS while testing it lol :P

If you're not doing anything fancy with classes, then they are pretty simple. It's pretty much just a wrapper for all your functions so that they never interfere with any other functions.

You can them name them whatever you like, the only unique name will have to be the class name.

Yeah I noticed that last night when I was finishing up the 1.1.0 upgrades for my "Tweet Sheet" plugin.

Uploading it right now.

Saint, you're the man! I'll check this one out the moment I need a forum (which I do not need right now)
