Is there a way to create a Gallery for one part of the site, and create a separate one in another part of the site? Currently the Galleries are all combined and, of course, if the plugin is used in two catagories the same Gallery is shown.
Thanks!
Create two sections in the gallery plugin, category1 and category2.
Then in your first category (where you select the plugins), scroll down to the bottom where it says Category Link. Add this: index.php?categoryid=1&p17_sectionid=1
Make sure that categoryid and p17_sectionid have the correct ids.
(p17_sectionid is the id of the image gallery section)

It is embarrassing to see how easy this is after all! Thank you so much!! You are so impressive!

Is there a way to make that second gallery a plugin?
i.e.
I have a new catagory names Cars I made a plugin for that cat now under it i also want to show (as a plugin) Only the sub cat hondas (gallery).
When i goto choose from the plugins i only see IMAGE GALLERY ---- is there a way to also see the sub cats?
I hope that made since.

Do you want to show the Image Gallery twice on the same page? Or show it on 2 different pages, but each page displaying a different section of the gallery?
The first can't be done, but displaying different sections of the gallery in different pages is possible:

Maybe THis will make it more clear ( i wasnt sure i was saying it right the first time anyway :)
When i go to setup a new page and i choose NEWs as the first plugin ---- The second plugin i want to choose a sub catagory from my images cats ----
not the main image gallery but a sub cat hondas----
The stucture of my page would be:
Looking at the page i would see
PLUGIN 1 -- NEWS
PLUGIN 2 -- A GALLERY SUB CATAGORY
Instead of:
PLUGIN 1 -- NEWS
PLUGIN 2 -- MAIN GALLERY
I Hope that makes more since --- i have tried what you said but that will only put the sub cat on its own page

The only way to do this, is to create a category with
Plugin One: News
Plugin Two: Image Gallery.
The Image Gallery obviously need to have a main section called "Cars" and one subsection called "Hondas". Notice that if you now click on the Hondas subsection a new page will open with the Plugin one being the News and the second being the Honda section. Copy that URL.
You can now create a new category on your site.... and add that URL as a category link.
The only problem with this is that you will also have a main image gallery with a news plugin at #1 and and the main gallery as plugin #2 (but that category can of course be hidden from the menu).
Did this make any sense?
