Subduck, your assistance is urgently needed. I went to submit todays articles and thought everything was fine. That was until someone submitted a comment and it appeared on all 4 articles I had posted today. It seems they were all give the same ID number. That being id=127 I did a test and sure enough the next article ID was 127. I deleted it and all 4 of my articles got deleted. So everytime I submit an article now it is given the same ID number which is 127.

Any idea what is going on?

whats even weirder is that when I edit the article ID field manually to 128 using phpmyadmin it still saves it as 127.

Hellllllp

It seems to be working now ok. I changed the article ID property on the database from tinyint to int and it seemed to do the trick. All very strange

You don't need to run the script, you basically already fixed it yourself :)

Yeah I got the same problem aswell and I'm sure that it is related to the Article ID = 127 because the same strange things happend to me and I also wrote 127 Articles so far - could you please tell me where to find the fix or tell me how to fix it by myself? ;)

Thanx,
sycology
