Forum intigration. How much?

How much is a forum intigrated like VBulliton with SubDreamer?

Can I port some of the forum features throughout Subdreamer into comments and any other areas that require posting?
Do any Vbulliton admin fetures effect subDreamer or would that only be if there were some vBulliton elements within subreamer?
