View Full Version : Blank page when I submit Images (admin)
Hello, When I try and submit images (jpg) in admin to my image gallery i get a blank page on the right side pane but I can still see all the settings on the left side. The image is not uploaded. Every thing else is ok!
Regards.
Did you remember to chmod the image gallery's folder (./plugins/p17_image_gallery/images) to 777?
Hello,
Yes it is set at 777
Login to the Subdreamer Admin Panel and in the left hand panel under 'Main Plugins' click 'Image Gallery'. Now you will see the Image Gallery's page, under 'Settings' click 'Display Settings'. The last row in that settings page is for Image Resizing, what is your value set to?
I have a feeling that your server does not support GD2, so try GD1, and if that still doesn't work then try the last value which is 'Submit Thumbnails'.
Hello,
Tried it but still the same.
Here is my GD info from host using info.php
GD Support enabled GD Version bundled (2.0.23 compatible) FreeType Support enabled FreeType Linkage with freetype GIF Read Support enabled JPG Support enabled PNG Support enabled WBMP Support enabled XBM Support enabled
When you upload an image, all of the image's information goes through (ex: title, author, etc...) except for the image?
Hello,
Ok great...for some reason it has started uploading in GD2??
Don't know why?
So will see what happens.
Thanks for the promt replies to this.
Regards
You mean you switched it to GD2 and everything works now?
Yes I switched it to GD2 and everything works now.
I tried the three settings for quite a while and then it started working in GD2
Regards.
Hmmm, that's very strange.
Thanks for keeping me updated, I'll look over the code and see if I find anything strange.
I have probs uploading pictures .. and I've tried gd1, gd2 and tumbnails .. its seems to upload the picture but it dosent .. the dirs are chmod correct and all that aswell ... any clue ?
I removed the image gallery at first , but then found out that I wanted it anyway ...
Hi tdf,
I'm releasing a new version of Subdreamer tonight that has a new Image Gallery version. Do you mind waiting to install the new version and see if it solves the problem?
