Logged in within Forum, not in site?

We've installed vBulletin, and are using the forum integration. If users log in through the forum's log in form, they are logged into the forum, but not into the overall site. Is there a fix for this?

I've had the same issue with my phpBB2 integration. My members havn't ever complained about it, but it would be nice if they could sign into the forum and stay signed in throughout the site.

This issue is caused by different things for different forums. Usually it is a trailing slash or www. vs no www setting issue. Occasionally there is a server or security issue that prevents the connection or cookie from synchronizing properly. To pinpoint the cause, we usually need to look at your site directly and should submit a ticket if the issue is unresolved.

Mine is the opposite, if i log in from the forum, it stays logged in throughout the site, however if I log in using the login panel, you have to re login on every page. Anyone know why this may be happening? I have phpbb integrated.

I submitted a ticket several days ago, and was told that it was being handed off to a programmer. Haven't heard anything since. I confirmed that the settings in our Subdreamer and in Vbulletin were what they should be. Am a little frustrated, as we were supposed to go live yesterday, and are being held up by this :(

Delete all cookies related to your sites from your computer and then relog into your SD page and it will lay down a new cookie and your problem should go away.

I have found that having multible cookies causes the exact kind of problems being desribed here.
